“Creating a legal and regulated marijuana market is the best
way to ensure public safety” quoted by Paige in her blog Medical Cannabis: 21 states to go.
In her blog she identifies some ways that America could benefit from legalizing
cannabis, noticing that she and I share the same views. Paige had substantial
view points for an example, she stated “Marijuana is a much safer alternative
to pharmaceuticals, to relieve chronic pain associated with these illnesses.
Also, with medical cannabis, patients can reap the benefits of managing their
symptoms without having to worry about addiction, overdose or, serious side
effects that aren't worth the risk of pharmaceutical drugs.” Using the US
Government Accountability office to support her claims made her argument very
strong. This blog was well-written and I agree with her to the fullest in
regards to legalizing cannabis and the positive impact it could possibly have
on America. What I enjoyed the most about this is it was short and very
informational, she explained why she thought it was a good idea and then
provided credible evidence that supported her claims and claims from the
medical stand point.
